Remote Online Notary (otherwise known as RON) allows notaries to use as digital notary online. This is different the online notarization because before you would still have to mail the originally signed docs to the notary to get signed. This time a “Digital Stamp” replaces your wet signature and stamp. In my opinion this will take a while to adopt for a lot of people (maybe 5-10 years) but in the long run its here to stay and has a lot of upside potential.
Essentially, you should be able to notarize from the comfort of your home or office.
